General β€” About the Academy

7 questions about Concept Sprout Academy
01

What is Concept Sprout Academy?

+

Concept Sprout Academy is a premier coaching institute based in Navi Mumbai, established on 9th January 2015. We specialise in coaching students for IIT-JEE (Main & Advanced), NEET, Foundation courses for Class 8–10, and Olympiad preparation.

Our teaching philosophy is built on concept-first learning β€” we believe that deep understanding always outperforms rote memorisation, especially in competitive examinations like JEE and NEET.

02

When was Concept Sprout Academy established?

+

Concept Sprout Academy was established on 9th January 2015. Over the past decade, we have grown from a single centre to three branches across Navi Mumbai β€” in Ulwe, Seawoods, and Kamothe β€” while maintaining the same commitment to quality and personalised teaching that we started with.

03

How many branches does Concept Sprout Academy have?

+

We currently have three branches across Navi Mumbai:

  • Ulwe β€” serving students from Ulwe, Dronagiri, Belapur and surrounding areas
  • Seawoods β€” serving students from Seawoods, Nerul, Belapur CBD, Sanpada and nearby areas
  • Kamothe β€” serving students from Kamothe, Panvel, Kharghar, Khandeshwar and surrounding areas

All three branches offer the same courses, study material, test series, and teaching standards.

04

What makes Concept Sprout Academy different from other coaching institutes?

+

Several things genuinely set us apart:

  • Concept-first philosophy β€” we build real understanding, not just exam shortcuts
  • Small batch sizes β€” every student receives personal attention, not just a seat number
  • Detailed performance analysis β€” after every test, students get individual feedback and improvement plans
  • Dedicated doubt-clearing β€” no concept is left unresolved
  • 10+ years of proven results β€” our methodology is tested and continuously refined
  • Genuine faculty investment β€” our teachers genuinely care about every student's progress
05

How large are the batches at Concept Sprout Academy?

+

We deliberately maintain small batch sizes across all programmes and all three locations. This is one of our core commitments β€” and a non-negotiable part of how we operate.

Smaller batches mean every student is known by name, receives regular personalised feedback, can ask questions freely, and gets individual attention during doubt-clearing sessions. No student gets lost in the crowd at Concept Sprout Academy.

06

How experienced is your faculty?

+

Our faculty members are experienced, subject-specialised educators who are deeply familiar with the JEE and NEET exam patterns. Each teacher brings strong academic expertise combined with genuine passion for student success.

Beyond qualifications, what distinguishes our faculty is their commitment β€” they stay current with exam patterns, design our study material in-house, and are available to students beyond classroom hours for doubt resolution.

07

Is study material provided by the academy?

+

Yes. All study notes, practice sheets, Daily Practice Problems (DPPs), and test papers are developed in-house by our faculty β€” not sourced from generic publishers. This means the material is precisely aligned with the current exam pattern, level of difficulty, and the specific syllabus for each programme.

Students do not need to purchase separate books or study material from outside for their core preparation β€” everything needed is provided by the academy.

Courses & Programs

8 questions about our academic programmes
01

What courses does Concept Sprout Academy offer?

+

We offer four flagship programmes across all three branches:

  • IIT-JEE Preparation (Class 11–12) β€” covering JEE Main & Advanced in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics
  • NEET Preparation (Class 11–12) β€” covering Physics, Chemistry, and Biology based on NCERT and NEET pattern
  • Foundation Program (Class 8–10) β€” Science, Mathematics, and Mental Ability with Olympiad and NTSE preparation
  • Olympiad Preparation (Class 8–12) β€” Maths and Science Olympiad training at national and international level
02

From which class should a student join?

+

Students can join as early as Class 8 through our Foundation Programme. We strongly recommend early enrollment β€” students who begin in Class 8 or 9 have a significant advantage by the time they reach JEE or NEET preparation in Class 11.

That said, students joining directly in Class 11 or 12 for JEE or NEET coaching are equally welcome and very well-supported through structured, intensive programmes designed to make the most of the time available.

03

Do you cover both JEE Main and JEE Advanced?

+

Yes. Our IIT-JEE programme comprehensively covers both JEE Main and JEE Advanced. The syllabus, problem-solving strategies, test series, and level of difficulty are calibrated to prepare students for the full spectrum β€” from JEE Main MCQ formats to the more advanced, open-ended problem types in JEE Advanced.

04

Is the NEET programme strictly NCERT-based?

+

Yes β€” our NEET programme is built on a strong NCERT foundation. Since the majority of NEET questions come directly from NCERT content, we ensure complete NCERT mastery first across all three subjects β€” Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.

Once NCERT mastery is established, we supplement with additional reference material, previous year papers, and intensive practice to ensure full exam readiness and high accuracy.

05

What is the benefit of the Foundation Programme for Class 8–10 students?

+

The Foundation Programme delivers several long-term advantages:

  • Builds strong conceptual clarity in Science and Mathematics from an early stage
  • Prepares students for Olympiads and NTSE, developing competitive problem-solving skills
  • Introduces analytical and logical thinking habits that serve students throughout their academic career
  • Students completing the Foundation programme transition into JEE/NEET coaching with a major head start β€” stronger concepts, faster grasp, better results
06

Which Olympiads do you prepare students for?

+

Our Olympiad programme prepares students for a range of national and international competitions, including:

  • Mathematics Olympiads β€” IMO, IMAS, SOF International Mathematics Olympiad
  • Science Olympiads β€” NSO, SOF National Science Olympiad
  • Scholarship and reasoning competitions

We tailor preparation based on the specific Olympiad the student is targeting, focusing on the exact syllabus, question style, and problem-solving approach required.

07

Can a student take JEE coaching and Olympiad preparation simultaneously?

+

Yes β€” and we actively encourage it for capable students. The advanced problem-solving skills developed through Olympiad training directly strengthen JEE Advanced preparation. We help schedule combined programmes in a way that maximises benefit without overwhelming the student.

08

Do you accept dropper / repeater students for JEE or NEET?

+

Yes. Students who have appeared for JEE or NEET and are preparing for another attempt are very welcome at Concept Sprout Academy. We have experience working with dropper students and understand the unique challenges and mindset required for a successful second attempt. Our structured programme, regular testing, and personalised mentoring are particularly effective for students in this situation.

Admissions & Fees

7 questions about the enrolment process
01

How do I get my child admitted to Concept Sprout Academy?

+

The admission process is simple and welcoming:

  • Step 1 β€” Call, WhatsApp, or walk into any of our three branches (Ulwe, Seawoods, or Kamothe)
  • Step 2 β€” Our team will discuss your child's current class, academic level, and goals to recommend the right programme
  • Step 3 β€” Visit the branch to see the classroom, meet faculty, and ask any questions you have
  • Step 4 β€” Complete the simple admission process and your child can begin classes in their batch right away

No entrance test is required for admission. Walk-ins are always welcome β€” no appointment needed.

02

Are admissions open throughout the year?

+

Yes β€” admissions are open throughout the academic year at all three branches. There is no single admission window or cutoff date. However, we recommend enrolling as early as possible to benefit from the full programme duration and to secure a spot in your preferred batch before it fills up.

03

What are the fees for the programmes?

+

Fees vary depending on the programme, class, and batch selected. We believe in transparent and fair pricing, and our team will provide you with complete fee details during your visit or enquiry call β€” no hidden charges.

Please contact your nearest branch directly by phone or WhatsApp for the current fee structure for the specific programme you are interested in.

04

Is there an entrance test for admission?

+

No β€” there is no entrance test required for admission to Concept Sprout Academy. Any student who wishes to join is welcome, regardless of their current academic level. Our job is to meet students where they are and bring them to where they need to be.

05

What are the available batch timings?

+

We offer multiple batch timings across morning, afternoon, and evening slots to accommodate school schedules and different student preferences. Specific batch timings vary by programme and branch.

Please contact your nearest branch to check current available batches and timings for your preferred programme. Our team will help match you with the most suitable slot.

06

Can a student transfer between branches?

+

Yes. If a student's circumstances change β€” for example, a family relocation within Navi Mumbai β€” they can transfer to another Concept Sprout Academy branch without any disruption to their academic programme. Since all branches follow the same syllabus, study material, and test series, the transition is completely seamless.

07

Can a student join mid-year after the academic session has started?

+

Yes, mid-year admissions are possible and fairly common. Our team will assess the student's current level, identify which topics have already been covered in the ongoing batch, and create a brief catch-up plan to bring the student up to speed before they join ongoing sessions fully. Please contact us and we will guide you through this smoothly.

Methodology & Teaching

7 questions about how we teach
01

What is the teaching methodology at Concept Sprout Academy?

+

Our methodology follows a structured 6-step learning journey:

  • Concept explanation β€” from basic to advanced level, every topic starts at its foundation
  • Interactive classroom sessions β€” small batches allow active discussion and real-time doubt resolution
  • Structured assignments & DPPs β€” Daily Practice Problems reinforce every topic taught
  • Weekly & monthly test series β€” regular assessment in exam-pattern format
  • Detailed performance analysis β€” individual feedback after every test
  • Doubt-clearing & revision cycles β€” dedicated sessions to resolve gaps and revise the full syllabus
02

How frequently are tests conducted?

+

We conduct tests at multiple levels:

  • Chapter tests β€” after each topic or unit is completed
  • Weekly tests β€” covering recent material in exam-style format every week
  • Monthly mock tests β€” full-syllabus, full-length tests mirroring the exact JEE/NEET pattern
  • Grand tests / revision tests β€” comprehensive assessments before exam season

Tests are followed by detailed performance reports and a personal feedback session β€” the goal is improvement, not just evaluation.

03

How does doubt-clearing work?

+

We have scheduled doubt-clearing sessions built into the weekly timetable for all batches. During these sessions, students can raise any question β€” from that week's topic or from months ago β€” and our faculty addresses each doubt with full patience and depth.

Beyond scheduled sessions, students can also approach faculty before or after class for immediate doubt resolution. We firmly believe that no doubt should remain unresolved for more than a day or two, as unresolved doubts compound quickly in competitive exam preparation.

04

What if my child is a slow learner or struggling with certain topics?

+

This is exactly where our small batch model and personalised approach make a real difference. Because our faculty genuinely knows each student, they can identify struggling students early β€” often before the student even asks for help.

For students who need extra support on specific topics, we provide additional practice material, extra time in doubt-clearing sessions, and a customised action plan to address the gap. No student is left to figure it out alone.

05

Is the full syllabus covered before the exam?

+

Yes, absolutely. Our academic calendar is carefully planned from day one to ensure 100% syllabus coverage well in advance of the exam date β€” leaving adequate time for revision, full-length mock tests, and doubt-clearing before the actual JEE or NEET examination.

Concept-first teaching does not mean slow teaching β€” it means efficient teaching that does not require revisiting basics repeatedly later.

06

How many times is the syllabus revised before the exam?

+

We run structured revision cycles that revisit the entire syllabus multiple times throughout the programme. This spaced repetition approach is backed by learning science β€” material revisited at spaced intervals is retained far more effectively than material crammed once.

By the time a student appears for their exam, they will have seen every important concept, problem type, and topic multiple times β€” through classroom teaching, assignments, tests, and dedicated revision sessions.

07

How do you keep students motivated through a long 2-year programme?

+

Motivation at Concept Sprout Academy is built through genuine progress, not just motivational speeches. When students see their test scores improving, when they solve problems they previously could not, and when they receive honest and encouraging feedback from faculty who believe in them β€” motivation follows naturally.

We also celebrate small academic wins, help students set short-term goals, track growth over time, and maintain a positive, competitive classroom culture where peers inspire each other to reach higher.

For Parents β€” Progress, Updates & Support

7 questions from parents about tracking and involvement
01

How will I be kept informed about my child's progress?

+

We believe parents are essential partners in a student's academic journey. Here is how we keep you informed:

  • Performance reports β€” detailed subject-wise and topic-wise reports after every monthly test
  • Regular parent-teacher meetings β€” scheduled meetings at all branches to discuss progress, concerns, and next steps
  • Open communication β€” parents can contact faculty directly to discuss their child's progress at any time
  • Improvement plans β€” when a student needs to focus on specific areas, we share a clear plan with parents as well
02

Are there regular parent-teacher meetings?

+

Yes β€” we hold regular parent-teacher meetings at all three branches. These meetings give parents direct access to faculty to understand their child's academic performance, discuss areas for improvement, and align on the approach going forward.

Beyond scheduled meetings, parents can also reach out to us directly at any time β€” we maintain an open-door policy for all families enrolled with us.

03

My child is anxious about competitive exams. How does Concept Sprout handle exam stress?

+

Exam anxiety is real, and we take it seriously. Our approach reduces stress in several ways:

  • Regular testing makes exam-taking a familiar, low-anxiety routine rather than a high-stakes event students dread
  • Small batches mean students feel seen and supported β€” not like a face in a crowd
  • Faculty actively build student confidence through encouragement, celebrating small wins, and honest, constructive feedback
  • We help students set realistic short-term goals, which keeps them focused and reduces overwhelm

If a parent notices their child is under significant stress, we encourage a conversation with the faculty directly β€” we are happy to adjust pace, provide extra support, or simply be a listening presence for the student.

04

How much homework or home study is expected from students?

+

Students are given Daily Practice Problems (DPPs) and assignment sheets after each session β€” designed to reinforce what was taught in class and take 45–90 minutes to complete depending on the programme and student pace.

Beyond assignments, we recommend students spend time on self-revision and attempting additional problems from our provided material. The total recommended daily study time outside class hours varies by programme, but consistent daily effort β€” even 2–3 focused hours β€” makes a significant difference in long-term performance.

05

Can students manage both school and Concept Sprout Academy coaching?

+

Yes β€” and most of our students successfully manage both. Our batch timings are designed around school schedules, with morning and evening batch options available.

Our teaching approach also reinforces school concepts, so students often find that their school performance improves alongside their competitive exam preparation. Our Foundation programme students (Class 8–10), in particular, frequently report improved board exam scores as a direct benefit of the deeper conceptual understanding they develop at Concept Sprout.

06

Can parents contact faculty directly if they have concerns?

+

Yes. We maintain an open-door policy for all enrolled families. Parents are welcome to reach out to the branch team or faculty directly if they have any academic concerns, observations, or questions about their child's progress. We respond promptly and take every parent concern seriously.

07

What should a new student expect in their first week?

+

The first week at Concept Sprout Academy is welcoming and structured. New students can expect:

  • A warm welcome from faculty and batch members
  • An overview of the programme structure, schedule, and academic expectations
  • Classroom sessions that begin from the foundational level β€” no prior knowledge of the topic assumed
  • Their first set of study material and DPPs
  • An opportunity for any initial doubts from school or previous preparation to be addressed

We make sure every new student settles in comfortably β€” the goal is for them to feel at home in the classroom from day one.
